Supplier Quality Engineer

Your responsibilities:
Collaborating with our engineering, project management, field service and sourcing teams, you’ll be responsible for effectively managing supplier quality requirements & supplier development across fabricated material. You’ll work diligently with our suppliers to continuously improve performance, implement process controls and develop quality assurance plans. As the focal point for supplier quality related activities and process control for supplier base, you will focus on issue resolution, supplier approval, supplier qualification, process control, and quality assurance consistent with Agilyx sourcing quality initiatives. Your responsibilities will include monitoring supplier nonconformance performance, and identifying and driving process improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
Your Qualifications:
To qualify for this opportunity, you’ll need:
- A minimum of 10 yrs experience in supply chain management, quality, or engineering with 5 years experience working with supplier quality processes tools in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical, chemical, electrical or industrial engineering
- Six Sigma Green Belt certified a plus
- Welding training a plus
- Understanding of DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis) and PRMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis)
- Familiar with interpretation of engineering drawings/specifications, and manufacturing process evaluation
- Familiar with process control tools
- Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to adapt communication to fit the needs of the audience.
- Commitment to teamwork, results orientation, excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self-confidence, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong personal and professional ethics.
- Experience in oil/gas, industrial process and/or construction environments a definite plus
- Experience in international sourcing and supplier management
