Our Mixed Plastics-to-Crude (MPC) Technology
Reduce, Produce, Create
Agilyx is the global leader in the development of technology that effectively pairs disposal cost reduction with an incremental revenue stream from the sale of crude oil, driving margin expansion; it is this technology that is improving Portland plastics.
The Agilyx process provides a “next life solution” for Portland plastics that generates a substantially more favorable carbon impact by comparison with traditional methods of crude oil extraction. Crude oil produced by Agilyx is consistent with the ideology supporting Low Carbon Fuel Standards (“LCFS”) and other similar public policy initiatives.
Our proven technology returns 5X more energy than it uses (“EROEI”) in the production process.
Waste plastics that would normally end up in a landfill are prepared and moved to the Agilyx automated in-feed system. Upon entering the MPC (formerly "Generation 6") Thermal Reclamation unit, the plastics are heated and converted first to a liquid, and then to a hydrocarbon gas. The hydrocarbon gases are then transferred to a proprietary back-end system where they are condensed back to liquid and move through a separation and conditioning system, creating crude oil from what was once plastic.
