Our Vision

Reduces. Produces. Creates.

We at Agilyx envision a world without an insatiable appetite for oil and where mixed-waste plastic no longer has the negative impact on our planet that it does today. As realists, we know that the 325 billion pounds of industrial and municipal plastic finding its way to landfills each year will not be eliminated overnight, nor will the annual need for over 31 billion barrels of crude oil disappear in the near future. There are intermediary steps, however, that can be taken to mitigate these problems and Agilyx plays an important role in the larger solution to reduce plastic waste going to landfills by producing oil from this waste stream and helping to create cleaner, empowered communities.

"Our Vision is to make a significant and positive contribution to our global ecosystem by providing technologies that optimize waste resources to their highest and best use." Ross M Patten

Our Mission

The Agilyx mission is to
provide the world with an
environmentally-beneficial,
source of crude oil by partnering
with waste generators and aggregators to economically handle difficult-to-recycle waste plastics.

Agilyx diverts difficult-to-recycle waste plastic away from garbage streams, complements recycling efforts, extends landfill life, prevents the need for incineration, and provides a cost-effective end-of-life solution for waste plastic.

Agilyx Perspective: Waste

We believe there is no choice – we must address the growing build-up of environmentally damaging plastic waste. If we can produce more environmentally friendly oil in the process, why wouldn’t we consider this alternative source? A typical Agilyx system recycles 50 tons of plastic waste and produces up to 300 barrels (12,600 gallons) of oil a day.

Agilyx generates synthetic crude oil from mixed-waste plastic increasing the availability of a necessary, but ever-more-scarce global commodity.

Agilyx Perspective: Oil

Although many would love to just say "no" to oil, that isn’t the world we live in today. This means ourselves and other innovators around the world need to look at more positive, alternative ways to satisfy this growing demand until we can achieve an oil-free future. Our patented system uniquely takes in all types of plastics (i.e. resins 1 to 7) and contaminants and produces saleable crude oil with a process-to-energy ratio in excess of 6 to 1 and minimal emissions.

Agilyx empowers communities by creating local jobs, improving the environment, and providing a new and valuable commodity which increases energy independence for the region.

Agilyx Perspective: Community

Waste and fuel are major concerns for any community. Through our scalable, distributed waste management and energy production approach, we believe both waste and fuel can be managed locally. Why ship difficult-to-recycle waste long distances? Why import all oil? And why damage the environment you live in? At Agilyx, we make it possible to act locally while thinking globally.
