The Rationale for this Position

Since its founding in 2020, Cyclyx is a post-use plastic feedstock management company working with industry participants to develop innovative recycling solutions for all types of post-use plastics. The company’s mission is to increase the recyclability of plastics from 10% to 90% by using Cyclyx’s expertise in understanding the chemical composition of waste plastic in collaboration with industry partners to create a new, innovative supply chain.
Marketing/Communications is a crucial support to increasing the flow of waste plastics into the Cyclyx feedstock management system.

Role Overview
The Cyclyx Content Manager/Developer is a creative and dedicated member of the marketing team who focuses on generating original content for our website/social media and marketing collateral

Critical Conditions for Success

I. Content Generation

  • Research, prepare and write original content as well as curate and edit content for the Cyclyx website and educational and promotional collateral
  • Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines, translate complex ideas and move with agility to create clear communications for a range of audiences
  • Generate digital and physical content, to include website, social media, digital marketing, video content and marketing collateral, within different mediums (HTML, PowerPoint, PDF, etc) and SEO Best Practices.
  • Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization’s mission to inspire ideas and content

II. Content Management

  • Actively assist with establishing and maintaining the Cyclyx “voice”
  • Determine content goals and strategies that reflect creative ways to build an online presence and the analysis of performance indicators of the effectiveness of the strategy
  • Manage the distribution of content though different channels (including social media)
  • Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines

III.  Vendor, Member and Internal Relations

  • Work with vendors and Cyclyx Member companies as appropriate
  • A valued partner with all of the functional areas to support their initiative and generate ideas for content



  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with:
    • content management software, including Asana, Photoshop, and Flash; HTML and the application of SEO Best Practices; writing, editing and managing web and/or digital media communications projects
    • Experience in the environmental, recycling, plastics manufacturing, or other related commodities business preferred
    • Polished writing and copyediting skills
    • Excellent project management capability


Associate’s or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in computer science, marketing, mass communication, or a related field.

Position Mechanics

Reports to: VP Marketing and Programs

Type: Salaried; full time

Regular office hours: 8:30 am-5:00 pm plus occasional evening and weekend work to adhere to the ongoing news cycle

Staff: No direct reports, but solicits and manages contributions from internal resources and manages relevant vendors

Location: Preference is southern New Hampshire

Work environment: Professional office

Travel: The work will mostly be performed locally, though occasional travel should be expected
