We are increasing our Project Management capability to keep pace with the market demand for our conversion technology. In this role, you will assume oversight of multiple assigned projects at multiple sites, ensuring that all project deliverables are achieved within expected schedules, budgets, level of quality and functionality. Project responsibilities will range from conceptual scoping, estimating and feasibility through construction and closeout, and include management of the internal project team and outside services contractors.

The rest ends up in landfills, incinerators and the environment due to its chemical complexity, contamination and an infrastructure built for a different kind of economy. Agilyx has spent the last 15 years changing this. With Agilyx’s chemical recycling technology and intelligent feedstock management system, plastic waste can be converted to new virgin equivalent plastics, as well as chemical products and fuels – creating the opportunity for true circularity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manages budgets, schedules, scope development, contracts, documents, procedures and controls for assigned projects
  • Project initiation and project plan development
  • Proposal scoping and estimating, developing project hours
  • Interface with contractors to obtain proposals/bids
  • Manage outside EPC and environmental firms
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, and manage project staff to ensure project requirements are met
  • Organize and run internal and external meetings utilizing agendas, meeting minutes, and action items lists
  • Ensure completion of project deliverables are on schedule and within budget, reviewing % complete and estimating hours to complete
  • Track and approve invoices against purchase orders
  • Monthly reporting



  • Minimum of 15 years engineering/construction project management experience, preferably related to $40MM+ manufacturing and capital projects. EPC experience a plus.
  • Understands project FEL phases and required deliverables for project success; Proficient with project scheduling software.
  • Experience developing scopes of work for engineering and construction activities.


BS degree or equivalent in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Position Mechanics

Reports to: Director, Project Management

Type: Salaried; full time

Work Hours: generally 8:00-5:00, Monday to Friday. There could be occasional evening and weekend work.

Staff: none

Location: Tigard, Oregon / remote

Work environment: professional office, manufacturing, and lab

Travel: is not expected

Physical Demands:  substantially that of an office environment; occasional lifting and manual work; must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
