Procurement Specialist–Portsmouth, NH

Reporting directly to the VP of Technology Integration and Manufacturing, your primary objective will be for ensuring that Agilyx has a steady and predictable supply of goods and services per specification and the associated supplier network. In this role you will:

  • Engage in straight transactional buying per demand identified by ERP demand planning and manually entered purchase requests.
  • Locate and qualify suppliers that can provide these goods and services.
  • Negotiate competitive costs while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

In preparation for this role you will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study (technical degree, accounting, business) or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in both strategic and tactical buying-planning capacities with companies that design and manufacture equipment or components. Demonstrable track record of developing supply chain networks that routinely deliver per expectations and are supportive of planned company growth.
  • Strong and effective negotiating skills that substantively contribute to building supplier accountability while maintaining a respectful business relationship.
  • Fluency in ERP system functionality and upkeep, preferably with NetSuite.
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
  • Excellent judgment regarding health, safety, environmental guidelines, rules and regulations as they pertain to equipment design and chemical plant operation.
  • Ability to communicate in writing and verbally at all levels in the organization.




Agilyx Accounts Payable Processing Clerk - Tigard, OR

Reporting directly to Accounting Manager, your primary objective will be supporting our accounting team in our Tigard, OR location. In this role you will:

  • Gather, enter and save all invoices from emails
  • Get mail from the office, open, scan, enter and save all invoices
  • Research any AP questions
  • Scan AP Invoices and route to managers for approval
  • Validate 3-way match and process invoices
  • Make calls / reach out to vendors for copies of invoices / ACH information as requested by AP Specialist
  • Get checks signed, stuff them, postage them, and get them to the post office.
  • Interface and provide excellent customer service to vendors
  • Assist the accounting department with additional duties as needed

In preparation for this role you will have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in AP
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Customer-focused
  • Ability to work independently and to multi-task
  • Experience working with an ERP system, Netsuite preferred
  • Strong computer knowledge


Lab Manager - Tigard, OR

Over the last two years, the company has been transitioning from a research and development company to a growth and operating Company. The Lab Manager - Analytics will support the growing analytical work within the Company. This position will report to the Director, R&D who is based in Tigard, Oregon, but will have oversight of the activities that may occur in the Company’s other location as well. In this role, you will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day activity for analytical testing, equipment, and analyst team members.
  • Interface with customers (internal and external) to define requirements and plan analytical testing to qualify large volumes of polymer feedstocks.
  • Be the principal liaison to Cyclyx International, Agilyx subsidiary, regarding feedstock testing, QC and coordination.
  • Communicate testing results to wider team members (internal & external)
  • Maintain polymer testing equipment as part of the Agilyx R&D team.
  • Coordinate and prioritize feedstock evaluation activities across multiple locations

In preparation for this role you will:

  • Have 10 years’ experience in an industrial production environment.
  • Have intellectual acuity allowing for multi-dimensional thinking, vision building, analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to deliver results; focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and quantitative skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that foster and promote long-term relationships with customers and clients.

  • A BA or BS in Science or Engineering, Polymer Science preferred.
