As a Cyclyx member, Reynolds will bring its learnings and expertise in creating a more circular economy for waste plastics playing an active role in helping Cyclyx build out its 10 to 90 waste plastic takeback programs.
The Hefty® EnergyBag® program gives consumers the ability to collect hard-to-recycle plastic items in addition to their existing recycling efforts. Since the Energy Bag® program’s inception in 2016, Hefty® has diverted over 1,500 tons of plastic waste from landfills. Hefty’s collaboration with Cyclyx aspires to enhance the program and greatly expand their geographic reach and volume of waste plastics collected.

Dr. Ron Abbott is sustainability technology manager at Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPChem). Dr. Abbott is responsible for developing technology required to advance long term global sustainability objectives, which includes leading CPChem’s advanced recycling program. Prior to assuming this role in 2018, Abbott served as the Planning and Strategy Manager in the Corporate Planning and Development group where he oversaw the strategic planning process for CPChem.
Ricardo Cuetos is vice president Standard Products Americas at INEOS Styrolution America LLC. Mr. Cuetos brings more than 25 years of experience in the plastics and petrochemical industries across North America, Asia Pacific, and Latin America and is committed to improving and increasing the recovery of post-consumer polystyrene waste.

CPChem is a leading chemical company and at the forefront of cultivating a circular economy for plastics. The company has announced plans for an annual production volume of 1 billion pounds of its ISCC PLUS certified Marlex® Anew™ Circular Polyethylene by 2030.
CPChem will actively contribute to Cyclyx’s ongoing efforts to build and enhance its programs by having Dr. Ron Abbott, CPChem’s sustainability technology manager, serve on the Cyclyx executive advisory board.

Ms. Keenan has deep experience in strategy development, government and public affairs, sustainability, crisis management, stakeholder engagement, branding and reputation management and is the founder and principal of Catherine C. Keenan LLC, a consulting firm that guides organizations in building programs for sustainability and corporate responsibility.
Ms. Keenan served as Vice President, Public Affairs, Sustainability and Environment Health and Safety at Trinseo S.A., a global materials company, from 2010 to 2020. She began her career at The Dow Chemical Company and held a series of leadership roles with responsibilities including Mergers and Acquisitions integration, industry affairs, public policy issues management, media relations and marketing communications. Ms. Keenan also serves on the board of directors for Agilyx Corporation, where she chairs the ESG committee and was instrumental in the company’s preparation for listing on the Oslo Bors Merkur Market (now EuroNext Growth) in 2020.
